Morphy Richards have been manufacturing kitchen appliances since its creation in July 1936 in Kent by Donal Morphy and Charles Richards. The company became public in 1947 when it merged with Astral, a company that made spin dryers and refrigerators. In it’s early days the company used to make regrigerators and washer dryers. Currently, the company is owned by Glen Dimplex.
Morphy Richards makes a wide range of kettles. They make jug kettles, cordless kettles, traditional looking kettles, water filer kettles and travel kettles. They have also currently included their lates quiet boil technology into their new kettles. The technology keeps your kitchen quiet even when boiling water for your favourite beverage. They also have illuminating water guages and the option to have your kettle whistle when it boils.
